GOLF:

The Algarve now boasts over 30 golf courses, with more opening soon. They are mainly concentrated in the central area of the Algarve.Some courses are located in the Western Algarve near to Portimao and Lagos, such as Penina, Palmares and Parque Floresta, but are still within 45 minutes drive from Vilamoura, and are well worth a day trip to play

BALAIA GOLF:

 

1.5km from the apartment is Balaia Golf. This is a testing 9 hole par 3 course suitable for both beginners and the more experienced player. Well worth the visit just to sample the beautiful surroundings and delicious food of the clubhouse.

 

 

 

 

Quinta do Lago is home to the Fabulous San Lorenzo course, voted second best in Europe,
The winter climate especially, is ideal for golf, and the courses do get booked heavily from October until April.
